RV filtering available in RMS 9+

RV filtering has been available in the Internet Booking Engine, effortlessly notifying your visitors when their selected site doesn't match up to their RV designations.

Now, your staff has access to the same easy filtering. In RMS 9+, when an RV doesn't work with the site selected, your staff will now see a pop-up notifying you of this discrepancy, so you can choose the best site for your guest.

Area Allocation gets an upgrade

At RMS Cloud, Areas and Categories signify your available rooms and room types, or sites and site types. You might be used to manually allocating these to your guests, but we’re saving you time by automating that process. 

  • You can run automatic allocation over a date range of your choosing, which is useful for busy periods and ensures you don’t overbook. 
  • The number of allocated and unallocated areas will now show daily on your summary screen, so you’ll have greater visibility over your capacity.  
  • You can also set priorities on your areas for allocation, so the system will fill up the rooms or sites you most want before all others.

Cancellation fees are now automated in RMS

Now, you can configure the cancellation fees attached to your cancellation policies to automatically apply when a reservation is cancelled in RMS.

Using the Guest Portal? This is also applicable in the Guest Portal where have cancellations enabled too. Your guest will be alerted to your policy and the associate fees, and prompted to make this payment.

Our payment gateway, RMS PAY, is quickly becoming one of the most celebrated additions to RMS Cloud and with the introduction of Automated Payment Schedules, it just keeps getting better. 

Designed to take manual labor out of payment processing and create greater flexibility for guests, now you can enable limitless, automated payment instalments on your rates and bookings.  

Properties can tie a schedule to a rate plan or build it bespoke, allowing guests to spread their payment over a series of system-triggered transactions, encouraging greater guest spending without any extra work from your team. 

You choose how and when payments are captured – such as via email or SMS Pay By Link – how much to take from each transaction, and the system will automatically process these transactions and rectify any failed attempts.  

What challenge does this solve? 

Properties seeking to tie up outstanding payments and balances will benefit from: 

  • Limitless instalments, providing flexibility for guests. 
  • Automatic transactions through RMS PAY minimizes workload for staff.
