Marketing Coordinator

Are you interested in working alongside innovators in the hospitality software industry? RMS is seeking an industrious Marketing Coordinator to support the RMS & Solonis marketing team. The Marketing Coordinator will provide support on projects designed to maximize revenue and grow both brands.

Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator will be a critical role in the smooth operation of the Marketing department and the attainment of its goals.

Responsibilities 
  • Support marketing team with daily marketing activities
  • Coordinate and attend key industry and marketing events, some travel required (10-20%)
  • Write and create key marketing content for the brand websites, white papers, case studies, webinars, brochures, mailers, and presentations.
  • Work closely with our marketing and PR agencies on reviewing content, social media plans, emails, and press releases
  • Assist with promotional activities, host presentations, and help organize customer events.
  • Assist with sales presentations by gathering relevant resources including proposals, slide decks, videos, quotations, and other information as requested.
  • Manage our referral bidding accounts for driving leads
  • Track, gather, and report on weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPIs
  • Complete quarterly competitor research and updates
  • Track and complete website updates
  • Work with Sales & Marketing Ops to keep our HubSpot database clean and assist in data imports
  • Manage marketing inventory and swag orders.
  • Support product marketing by maintaining the marketing department’s databases and documentation.
  • Help maintain marketing budgets and coordinate with the accounting team on marketing spend tracking.
  • Serve as liaison between the marketing department and third-party vendors.
  • Work with our project management tool to maintain and help project-manage marketing initiatives.
 
A little more about you...
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or equivalent experience.
  • Prior work experience in administration, sales, or marketing is a plus.
  • Great communicator, both verbally, and via email, video, and chat.
  • A knack for noticing details and is comfortable making copy edits.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with CRMs (such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
  • Some experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Confident and calm under pressure
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with varied timelines with flexibility and ease.
